Letter from the President - Jun 22, 2010

As President of the Deaf Service Center Association, Inc., I pledge to serve the members with utmost respect and integrity.

We work together as a unit to share ideas and programs to assist the three million Florida residents who are deaf or hard of hearing. Our agencies are spread across the entire state of Florida to better serve Florida’s deaf and hard of hearing community.

This invisible disability is increasing annually at an alarming rate and our goal is to unite together to bring our message to the people. Our combined efforts will bring forth more awareness to hearing loss and hopefully bring much needed support from the people and organizations of the State of Florida.

Our funding is becoming more and more difficult to obtain for each of our agencies. We are not state or federally funded so we welcome any contributions or donations that can assist our agencies with their programs.  We invite anyone or any organization to inquire about our Association and its membership.

Jeff Thomas

Mission Statement:
To unify the leadership of member Deaf and Hard of Hearing service agencies in order to support consistent services in Florida.
