A Note from the President I am honored to serve as President of the Deaf Service Center Association of Florida. This group of dynamic leaders represents private non-profit 501 c 3 organizations located throughout the state of Florida. Although we are all managed independently, we share common concerns in providing service to Florida’s 3.1 million deaf and hard of hearing residents. We each have our own funding for our programs, but it is our goal to increase funding to all of our programs and improve services to all deaf and hard of hearing citizens of Florida. Many of the core services we provide are similar, but each center has it’s own structure, which best fits the needs of the communities we serve. Our members adhere to a strict code of ethics and standards of professional practice. Feel free to contact me if you have questions about this organization or would like information about membership. – Julie Church |
